Relationship between pressure and current of a three-lobe Roots blower

There is a certain relationship between the pressure and the current of a three-lobe Roots blower. Generally, when the load (i.e., the output pressure and flow rate) of a Tricycle Roots Blower increases, its required current increases accordingly. This is due to the fact that more power is required to drive the blower to provide greater pressure.

Specifically, as the pressure of a triple-lobe Roots blower increases, its operating point shifts upward along the system characteristic curve. At the operating point, the blower needs to generate more back pressure to meet system requirements. In order to generate more back pressure, the motor needs to provide more power, so the current increases accordingly.

It is important to note that the relationship between pressure and current is also affected by other factors, such as the efficiency of the blower, the efficiency of the motor, and the power rating. The exact relationship is also affected by the type, size and design characteristics of the blower. Therefore, in practice, the most accurate relationship needs to be measured and analyzed based on the specific equipment and operating conditions.
