Assembly of Roots Blower
Precautions in the assembly of Roots fan: First, check the disassembled parts for any damage, special attention should be paid to checking the mating parts, if damage is found, it should be repaired or replaced. Secondly, the bearings should be washed clean and then coated with lubricating oil. When installing the bearings, the tools, hands, etc. should be cleaned. Thirdly, the dust on the mating parts should be removed thoroughly and then coated with oil. Fourth, if the gasket is broken or lost, then it should be replaced with a gasket of the same thickness and material.
The Roots fan is assembled in the following steps: First, the wall plate on the drive side is mounted on the casing. Second, install the impeller section from the gear end into the casing. Third, install the wall plate from the gear end on the casing, with the main axial total clearance, and the optional casing gasket when it is not enough. Fourth, assemble the sealing bushings and bearing housings, front and rear bearings. Use the front bearing housing gasket to control the distribution of axial clearance. Fifth, assembling gears, in the key on the side of the appropriate coating of molybdenum disulfide (gear with the taper surface is not allowed to apply oil), the use of the slave teeth to adjust the impeller clearance between the various departments, after the use of the lock nut locking and anti-loosening. Sixth, assemble the gear box. Seventh, assemble the secondary tank. If necessary, need to ream the sub-tank and wall plate positioning pin holes, into the positioning pin. Eighth, install the coupling (or pulley) and other accessories.
