The Roots fan is assembled in the following steps: First, the wall plate on the drive side is mounted on the casing. Second, install the impeller section from the gear end into the casing. Third, install the wall plate from the gear end on the casing, with the main axial total clearance, and the optional casing gasket when it is not enough. Fourth, assemble the sealing bushings and bearing housings, front and rear bearings. Use the front bearing housing gasket to control the distribution of axial clearance.
