Changsha Roots Blower adopts counter-current cooling, which has the following advantages:

1 High temperature gas can be inhaled. When air cooling is used and high temperature gas is inhaled, the inhaled gas is generally cooled down to about 40°C by the front cooler. When countercurrent cooling is used, the gas temperature can be directly inhaled even at 120°C.

2 Can be used at higher pressure ratios. Due to the exhaust temperature and other factors, the pressure ratio of single-stage air-cooled blowers generally does not exceed 2.0. When countercurrent cooling is used, the exhaust temperature drops and the pressure ratio allowed to be used increases. In practice, the pressure ratios of single-stage blowers and vacuum pumps reach about 2.6 and 4.4, respectively.

Dry conveyability can be ensured. The same vacuum level that can be reached by a wet vacuum pump can be achieved without water injection cooling.
