(1) First, start the three-leaf Roots fan, and while observing the pressure gauge, tighten the gate valve so that the pressure exceeds the set pressure by about 10%.
(2) Then loosen the lock nut and rotate the adjusting lever in a counterclockwise direction until air is discharged from the safety valve.
(3) In the process of tightening the gate valve, if the set pressure of the fan has not yet been reached, the safety valve has been excluded from the air, and again clockwise rotation of the lever until the air is not excluded, and then counterclockwise rotation of the lever, to reach just excluded from the air so far.
(4) Tighten the lock nut and adjusting nut.
(5) Release the gate valve.
