Whenever a pedestrian or a non-motorized vehicle runs a red light, the speaker emits a voice prompt and displays a photo of the person who ran the red light on a large screen.

The “Yinchuan Model” of smart city has been innovated from six aspects: business model, management model, technical architecture, business supervision, legislative guarantee and institutional reform. It has not only become a model house represented by visits from all over the world, but also a beautiful new business card of Yinchuan.

In recent years, with the progress of urbanization, traffic congestion, environmental pollution and a series of “urban diseases” are becoming more and more serious, and people's voices on “how to make the city smarter” are getting louder and louder. With the help of big data, cloud computing and smart technologies, smart cities are flourishing all over the country.

Currently, Yinchuan Intelligent is based on the architecture of “one pulse, one network and one cloud” to create intelligent transportation. It combines spatial GIS with real-time traffic data to predict and simulate traffic flow. It solves the problem of urban traffic congestion through real-time traffic control, tidal lanes, green belts and dynamic traffic guidance technology.

Meanwhile, Intelligent Yinchuan has deployed 88 sets of equipment, 51 monitoring points and 37 data transmission devices to upload real-time environmental monitoring data from Yinchuan City to the Intelligent Environmental Protection System platform. Through real-time air quality data, we can predict the impact of more than 10 parameters in the next 3 days of air quality, such as lung-enterable particulate matter, PM10, sulfur dioxide, etc., and proposed specific measures to respond to changes in air quality.” Wisdom Yinchuan also use big data “by cloud”, from the government to collect data, enterprises and individuals in the city, centralized all the data resources in the cloud computing, sending and receiving through high-speed broadband network, realizing the “ground” of the dialogue while the “cloud” is the "ground" of the conversation. The "cloud" effectively realizes the current scattered data resources of various departments. System integration and orderly sharing will further strengthen the level of utilization of government information resources and government service capacity.

Big data is everywhere in Yinchuan's smart city. It's a 3D fitting system that will soon be able to generate data such as height and shoulder width, with dimensions down to the millimeter, through laser scanning, and then the system automatically mass-produces clothes based on the collected data. “Employees of Ruyi Garment Co, Ltd, the company in the Binhe nEW area of Yinchuan City, explained that the time from measurement to ready-made clothes should not take more than three hours. At the same time, the big data will record the preferences of customers and facilitate their orders at any time.

Currently, the Intelligent Industrial Park in Yinchuan Binhe New District supports modern industries with high-end service industries, promoting new industries such as “Industry 4” and “Internet + Booming”. Enterprises such as Ruyi Clothing has landed nearly 50, including 20 “Internet +” medical enterprises, 18 game-related enterprises such as Shanda, 9 intelligent equipment manufacturing industry, such as cloud tube, intelligent instrumentation, and some Internet + financial and Internet + logistics enterprises, F Northwest Hubei talent, capital, etc.. Technology has reached a new height.

Since its completion in 2014, the Smart Yinchuan project has attracted widespread attention at home and abroad. Yinchuan is ranked 18th among the 20 smart cities in the world announced by the Dusonberg Institute.
